Noah Coburn spoke to BTWBerkshires about his new book, Losing Afghanistan: An Obituary for the Intervention, recently published by Stanford University Press, and his longtime work in that country studying the effects and conditions of war.

Faculty member Brooke Allen's biography of Benazir Bhutto, Favored Daughter, is hailed by Kirkus as "a compelling look at Bhutto’s tumultuous life and Pakistan’s roiling history," while the New York Times describes her contributions to Yours in Haste and Adoration: Selected Letters of Terry Southern, as "excellent and often droll."

Now in its second term, the Prison Education Initiative launched by Bennington College in 2015 will enroll 29 prisoners at the Great Meadow Correctional Facility in Comstock, New York, in classes this spring.
