Co-organized by faculty member Jon Isherwood and Bennington Museum curator Jamie Franklin, 3D Digital: Here and Now is a collaboration between Bennington College and the Bennington Museum that highlights artists, designers, and manufacturers whose work exploits the potential of new technologies to push material practice. The exhibition runs through June 15.
Andy Bichlbaum, one half of The Yes Men, will be giving the Adams–Tillim Lecture on Tuesday, March 29 at 7:30 pm in Tishman Lecture Hall. There will also be a screening on Monday of The Yes Men Are Revolting.
Sheila Lewandowski '97, longtime arts advocate and co-founder of The Chocolate Factory, an award-winning incubator for experimental performance in Queens, New York, has been awarded the 2016 Elizabeth Coleman Visionary Leadership Award at Bennington College.
Bennington College President Mariko Silver recently spoke at a meeting of the Council on Foreign Relations’ Higher Education Working Group on Global Issues at the CFR headquarters in New York. The working group is exploring the role of colleges and universities in a changing world and how institutions can better meet the challenges of globalization.
