A keynote speech will be given by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) program officer, Josh Haverlock. CAPA Symposium Bennington College

This community dialogue hosted by Paige Colby '25 will be held on April 26, 2024 from 1:00–3:00 pm in the CAPA Symposium. After hearing from keynote speaker, Josh Haverlock from the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), participants will break into groups to discuss the essential question β€œIs Bennington an echo chamber?” along with other subjects such as free speech, censorship, safe spaces, and Bennington's campus culture. If you are a student, faculty member, staff member, or member of administration interested in free speech issues, protecting your rights, and building community, this event is for you!
