The Center for the Advancement of Public Action (CAPA) Symposium was filled to capacity with Bennington-area residents eager to ask questions about how the federal government can make an impact on the local issues that matter most to them.

Peter Welch, one of two United States senators representing the state of Vermont in Washington, D.C., will hold a public Town Hall Meeting at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 4 at Bennington College’s Center for the Advancement of Public Action (CAPA). The event aims to build consensus and trust among people with different political perspectives.

Members of the regional Afghan community, people from local volunteer and professional refugee support organizations, and Bennington College faculty, staff, and students gathered for the community’s first multi-cultural celebration, the Persian New Year.

Bennington County’s leadership and collaboration efforts were highlighted during a first-of-its-kind public safety summit held at Bennington College.

Students will be able to place to-go orders using Benny the Chatbot.
