Off campus (see description) Bennington College

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Day one of our time together will be focused on making color from the land around us and practicing the basics of weaving on a traditional potholder loom using cotton loops. An optional second afternoon on August 11 will offer the opportunity to expand your weaving practice as we create a sturdy, colorful rug from our potholder squares.

This class is suitable for children with the company of a parent, or teens and adults. Workshop participants will receive a loom to keep, and will leave with at least one finished potholder and loops from our community dye pot.
