Basket Making Workshop with Alexa Rivera of Wovn.Country

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Vermont basket artist Alexa Rivera of Wovn.Country will teach some basic basketry techniques, and help participants play with color and experiment with shape in this workshop. Attendees will create their own Collection Basket—perfect as a catch-all on your bedside table, or for fruit and bread on the counter. A simple yet striking first basket, versatile in its ability for slight adjustments to the pattern for future projects.

Ages 16 and up please (unless special permission is granted, please email Alexa for requests for younger weavers). Please bring your own snacks and water. This workshop will be held in a screened-in barn on the Museum property. Please dress for the outdoors.
