Now in its second term, the Prison Education Initiative launched by Bennington College in 2015 will enroll 29 prisoners at the Great Meadow Correctional Facility in Comstock, New York, in classes this spring.

Training Wheels, a Vermont Arts Exchange exhibition of print work by ten Advanced Printmaking students from Bennington College, will open at the Bennington Train Depot. The show will kick off with a reception on Wednesday, December 2 at 7:30 pm and runs through February 29, by appointment.

With a substantial, multi-year grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Bennington will establish a new interdisciplinary environmental studies program. Beginning this September, the program will unfold in the context of the College's major new curricular initiative, which aims to address public needs of urgency, complexity, and importance.
