The Campus

The dorms at Bennington are consistently rated among the best in the country—and many of the common rooms have fireplaces.

Commons Lawn is the most active part of campus, with students passing by between classes, on their way back to their dorms, or headed into Commons for a meal.

The Center for the Advancement of Public Action (CAPA) is the newest building on campus. Designed by award-winning architects Tod Williams and Billie Tsien, CAPA is a place for creativity and research, contemplation and action.

The Student Center houses a 14,000-square-foot performance space, a secluded lounge space, billiards tables, as well as a campus snack bar, café, pub, and convenience store.
