Terry Creach directed Creach/Company, which tours throughout the United States and Europe, and his work as a choreographer was supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York State Foundation for the Arts, and the Foundation for Contemporary Performance Arts.


Biography

Creach, a choreographer, directed New York City-based Creach/Company, which tours throughout the United States and Europe. He received choreographic fellowships from the National Endowment of the Arts, the New York State Foundation for the Arts, and the Foundation for Contemporary Performance Arts. He was a guest choreographer and faculty member at prominent dance programs across the country including Bates Dance Festival, NYU/Tisch Summer Dance Residency Festival, and the University of Maryland/College Park. Choreographic commissions include Daghdha Dance Co. of Limerick, Ireland; Mo-Trans Dance of Missoula, Montana; Dance Repertory Theater of Florida State University; and Nugent & Matteson Dance. Creach taught at Bennington from 1987 to 2019. He served as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs from 2004 to 2010 and Acting Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs for Fall 2016-Fall 2017. He was appointed as faculty emeritus in 2019.
