My Path to Bennington: Jen Nash '26
Jen Nash '26 transferred to Bennington from Los Angeles Valley College. She shared her favorite experiences studying Drama at Bennington.
How did you choose Bennington?
I fell in love with the unique curriculum and passionate faculty members. Bennington is secluded in a sacred way that is so different from LA. I chose Bennington because I want to be inspired by nature and live in a new environment with a different culture.
What has been your favorite class so far?
My favorite class so far has been faculty member Jenny Rohn’s DRA 4395: Acting Ensemble: The Cherry Orchard. I loved having the opportunity to create art with hard-working actors who were just as excited to be there as I was! I looked forward to attending rehearsals, and working with Jenny Rohn was a magical experience.
What is your favorite thing about studying at Bennington?
My favorite thing about studying at Bennington is the support from students and staff. It’s very encouraging how eager the community is to help others with their projects. I feel like there are no limits.
What are you planning on doing for Field Work Term?
For Field Work Term, I am interning as a casting director’s assistant at Copasetic Company in Los Angeles.
