Black Music: Black Music Division (Reimagined) reflects on artists of color who have performed, lectured, or studied at Bennington College. This exhibition and event series is curated by the students of the Black Music: Black Music Division class.

Explore the contributions of Bill Dixon, Jimmy Garrison, Milford Graves, and many others who were members of the Music faculty from 1968 -1984 and beyond. View historic photos, books, letters, music, dance, and artifacts offering insight into the black experience at Bennington College.

Free and open to the public. Bennington College is "mask friendly" and asks that all guests be up-to-date on vaccinations. Please refrain from coming to campus if you are experiencing any COVID-like symptoms.
