A Play by Ruby Lee Lowenstein. Directed by Joshua Goldberg.

When Rachel’s mother, Daya, announces she has a “very important” gift, Rachel is sure it will be her grandparents’ silverware. Instead, Daya hands her a small Pocket Torah with all but three pages torn out. Frustrated by the strange gift, Rachel gives the useless little book to her young daughter, Daisy, to play with. Daisy transforms it into a roof for her fairy house, spilling out a warring gaggle of Torah Children who lived inside. All the while, in the Tree of Life, a mockingbird repeats the same tune over and over again.
