Bret Anthony Johnston
Johnston, author of Remember Me Like This, Corpus Christi: Stories, and winner of a National Book Award for writers under 35, is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and director of creative writing at Harvard University.
Biography
Bret Anthony Johnston is the internationally bestselling author of Remember Me Like This. The novel has been published around the world and has been named a Best Book of the Year in Italy, France, and by The New York Times Book Review. He is also the author of the award-winning collection Corpus Christi: Stories and the editor of Naming the World and Other Exercises for the Creative Writer. Among his many honors are the Pushcart Prize, a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, and a 5 Under 35 award from the National Book Foundation. His work appears in Esquire, The Atlantic, The New York Times Magazine, The Paris Review, and Best American Short Stories. He wrote the documentary film Waiting for Lightning, and his work has been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and Selected Shorts. He directs the creative writing program at Harvard University.
