Williams Honored with Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study Fellowship
Literature faculty member Phillip B. Williams has been selected as a 2020-21 Fellow at Harvard University’s Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study.
Williams was selected as the Helen Putnam Fellow and will be pursuing his project MUTINY: poems.
He is the author of Thief in the Interior, winner of the 2017 Kate Tufts Discovery Award and a 2017 Lambda Literary award. He received a 2017 Whiting Award and 2013 Ruth Lilly Fellowship.
Most recently, Williams was the faculty speaker at Bennington College's 85th Commencement, addressing the Class of 2020 at Bennington's first-ever virtual ceremony. Read his full speech.
