Biography
Smith is an actor, writer, and producer from Akron, Ohio. He is a member of the 2018 CBS Diversity Comedy Showcase and co-recipient of the 2017 NBCUniversal/Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Diversity Scholarship Award. He is the co-host of the podcast, Black Men Can't Jump [in Hollywood] (2017 Just For Laughs Festival and New York Television Festival participants) and is a member of the comedy group, Astronomy Club (Comedy Central's 2016 Sketch Comics to Watch). Smith has appeared on 50 Central on BET, Tracy Morgan's The Last O.G. on TBS, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and Late Night with Seth Meyers. He has also developed and appeared in digital content for Comedy Central, Fusion, IFC, MTV, CollegeHumor, Above Average, and Funny or Die. He teaches and performs at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NY. Smith was a guest artist at Bennington in Fall 2011.
