From Harvard to Bennington
Tom Guralnick '73, founder of Outpost, was interviewed in the online Albuquerque Journal.
Guralnick is the founder of "community-based Albuquerque arts organization called Outpost." As part of his work he "plans a concert calendar that features more than 100 events a year – most in Outpost’s 160-seat performance space near the University of New Mexico – and works equally hard finding ways to fund the nonprofit organization."
In the early 1960s, Guralnick left Harvard to study music at Bennington. He went on to complete several music degrees. He was interviewed in the Journal about the role that music has played in his life, his roots as a writer, and his work at Outpost.
