Award-winning choreographer, educator, and performer of traditional and contemporary dance. In 1993, Badolo founded his own Burkina Faso-based troupe, Kongo Ba Téria, which fuses traditional African dances with Western contemporary dance. He is a central figure in the contemporary, emergent, experimental dance scene in Africa.
