Schroeder Presents Research at National Geology Conference
Geology faculty member Tim Schroeder was invited to present his research on the "Mesozoic and Cenozoic Tectonic Evolution of Northwestern Mexico and the Southwestern United States" at the Geological Society of America's annual meeting in Portland, Oregon, this week.
Schroeder, who studies the movement of rocks and fluids through the Earth at active plate boundaries and at locations of past plate tectonic activity, was one of more than 6,000 scientists to attend the event.
