We encourage, but do not require
Supplementary materials. When we receive your Common Application, we will email you instructions for accessing your personal application status page, which you can use to upload supplemental materials.
An interview. These one-on-one conversations with an admissions counselor, student intern, or alumni volunteer allow us time to get to know you, to hear about your goals and interests, and to learn about the questions that drive you and your work. Likewise, these discussions are a good opportunity for you to ask us about Bennington. Schedule time with us while you’re visiting campus, while we’re visiting your high school or in your area for a local college fair, or arrange time for a virtual interview. You can request to schedule a virtual interview or plan a visit to campus. Please note: for international students (applicants who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents), interviews will be offered by invitation only each application round. If there is further information we need from you or questions we would like to ask, you may receive an invitation to interview after you submit your completed application.
Applicants are welcome to record a GLIMPSE video. Glimpse is an opportunity to share a 60-90 second video helping us to get to know you better. For more information about Glimpse, please visit the Glimpse website HERE. Currently, Glimpse is only available for US students attending high school in the United States. For consideration in the Bennington admissions process, Glimpse videos must be submitted by your chosen application deadline.
