Williams Reads at Princeton
Visiting literature faculty member and poet Phillip Williams will read from his work at Labyrinth Books in Princeton, NJ, on Friday, November 10 as part of Princeton University's C. K. Williams Reading Series.
A visiting faculty member at Bennington since fall 2016, Williams is the author of the chapbooks Bruised Gospels (2011), Burn (2013), and Thief in the Interior (2016), winner of the 2017 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. His poetry has appeared in Callaloo, Kenyon Review Online, The Southern Review, Painted Bride Quarterly, West Branch, Blackbird and elsewhere. Williams' honors include a 2013 Ruth Lilly Fellowship, a 2017 Lambda Literary Award, and a 2017 Whiting Award. He is a Cave Canem graduate and the poetry editor of the online journal Vinyl Poetry.
