Dear Bennington Community,

Today we witnessed the inauguration of the 46th President of the United States, Joseph R. Biden. The event marked a transition of power at the highest level of the U.S. Government and the will of the electorate.

In his inaugural address, President Biden called for unity in this time of deep division, imploring us to "see one another, hear one another," to display respect and love, to "open our souls instead of hardening our hearts," and to strive for "unity, not division."

Let's take this moment to recommit ourselves to these values at both the national level and within the Bennington community.
