 In a panel conversation lasting more than an hour, Rugnetta and others discussed "how social media is shaping the way we talk to each other—shaping our deliberative democracy" and tackled question like "how do filters and bubbles change the idea of “the public” and "How could we design platforms that would strengthen, rather than sap, civic life?" The event was organized by Eyebeam, a "nonprofit studio for collaborative experiments with technology toward a more imaginative and just world."
