Barbara Rice has had a distinguished career in local government and served as the first female Chair of the Franklin County Legislature. Previously, Ms. Rice has worked on land use planning and development in her role as a Commissioner on the Adirondack Park Agency and as a member of the NYS Fire Safety and Building Code Council. She received her BA in Business and Economics magna cum laude from SUNY Plattsburgh, a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in pre-medical sciences from Bennington College, and her PA degree from Albany Medical College.
