COVID Update 12/11/2020

I want to share that we have received a report of a new positive COVID case within our community. This was an employee who was most recently on campus on 12/8.
While we can understand that this news may be concerning, please be assured that the College is working closely with both the employee and the Vermont Department of Health. At this time and based on our knowledge of the case, we believe that the exposure risk to our campus community is very low, if there is any risk at all. As a reminder, if you are not contacted by the Vermont Department of Health, you are not considered a close contact.
Most importantly, the employee reports feeling well, has no symptoms, and is currently quarantining at home. We are all wishing this person well.
