Community Update | February 11, 2021
On February 11, 2021, Acting Dean of the College Oceana Wilson shared this update with the community.
TO: Students, Staff, Faculty, Families
FR: Oceana Wilson, Acting Dean of the College
I want to let you know that we have received a report of a new positive case within our community.
The College is working closely with the employee and the Vermont Department of Health. At this time and based on our knowledge of the case, we believe that the exposure risk to our campus community is contained to one other individual, who is isolating at this time. As a reminder, with any positive cases, if you are not contacted by the Vermont Department of Health, you are not considered a close contact.
Most importantly, the employee reports feeling well and is currently quarantining. We are all wishing this person well.
As always, please check the COVID webpage for the most up-to-date information.
As we welcome our students back for the spring term, we thank you all for your ongoing adherence to our Commitment of Shared Responsibility, including wearing masks, washing hands, and observing social distancing.
