Kilpatrick Fellowship

The Kilpatrick Fellowship program has been suspended for the 2020-2021 year. We look forward to reinstating this program as soon as possible, as these fellowships are an important part of our institution.

Named in honor of one of Bennington’s founders, William Heard Kilpatrick, the fellowship program appoints members of the graduating class to key areas of the College’s administration. In addition to paid, full-time staff appointments beginning July 1 of their graduating academic year, fellows receive professional mentoring by members of Bennington’s senior administration and a broad exposure to careers in higher education and nonprofit management.

This year’s open Kilpatrick Fellow positions are in the following offices: Admissions, Office of the President, and the Robert Frost Stone House Museum.

Apply to become a Kilpatrick fellow by April 5. Candidates will be considered based on the strength of their academic work, their contributions to the College, and other qualifications. Fellows will be named in early May, 2019.
