OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Choreographer, performer, animator and artist, Pooh Kaye '04 and artistic director of Eccentric Motion seeks to create unusual and impossible opportunities for the human body both in live dance and inside the camera since 1975. Animated paint, menacing landscapes, ambulatory objects and dancers collide and collude on the streets of New York, in royal-palaces and homes all the while confined to the two dimensional space of the camera. Multi-discipline artist Pooh Kaye, the performers of Eccentric Motions Dance, friends, students and artistic collaborators, John Kilgore, Cedric Klapisch, Jon Imber, Hassig Design, Naomi Ribner Jana Haimsohn, Michelle French, David Moss, and Elisabeth Wingate explore the possibilities of stop-motion animation created within, and exclusively, for the camera in productions combining dancers and environments.

The opening reception is on Saturday, September 1 from 5-7 Pm. The exhibition will be on view at Greenkill, Art Gallery in Kingston, NY from Saturday September 1 until Saturday, September 29, Tuesday- Saturday, 3 to 9 PM.
