OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Dr. Anjali Dutt’s research focuses on psychological processes that are associated with resistance to oppression and increasing the realization of human rights in different contexts. She collaborates with grassroots community organizations to conducts mixed-methods research, exploring how structural changes in communities such as women’s ownership of land, and women’s participation in educational workshops and cooperative enterprises impact women’s empowerment and well-being. Recently she is conducting research on neoliberal ideology and refugee rights, focusing on Bhutanese refugee resettlement in Ohio.
