Incarceration in America: Prison Education and Reform in Vermont

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | This series invites guest speakers from the private and public sectors to address a range of important topics in the current national dialogue. The guest speakers are Daniel Karpowitz; author of College in Prison: Reading in an Age of Mass Incarceration; Richard Sears, Vermont State Senator; Maxine Grad, Vermont State Representative, and Lisa Menard, Commissioner of the Vermont Department of Corrections. The conversation will be facilitated by CAPA director Susan Sgorbati and Vermont State Senator Brian Campion.
