Decolonial Campus Tour
Contact:
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Students in Decolonial Approaches to Settler Colonialism in American Visual Arts invite the campus community to learn about the Indigenous and colonial histories of several sites on campus. Enter into a conversation with us about how Bennington can heal colonial legacies and establish reciprocal relationships with Abenaki and Mohican peoples. Please meet us outside the Package Pick Up at Buildings & Grounds at 3:30 pm sharp. The tour concludes with a blessing of the Abenaki Garden at 5:00 pm led by Melody Walker Brook (Elnu Abenaki).
Accessibility: The campus tour route contains some uphill and downhill sections, some unpaved sections, and no stairs. The route can be made more accessible as needed. For access support, please email jordanreznick@bennington.edu.
Bennington College Guest COVID Vaccination Protocol
Bennington College requires that all guests be vaccinated and have the appropriate vaccine booster. To enter into a building on campus, guests are asked to complete a visitor form—ideally 24 hours before their arrival. Visitors who have not completed this form will be asked to show their vaccination card before entering any campus buildings. Masking indoors is required in any shared spaces.
