Catherine Barnett is the author of three books of poetry, Human Hours (Graywolf, 2018), winner of the Believer Book Award The Game of Boxes (Graywolf, 2012), winner of the Academy of American Poets James Laughlin Award for Best Second Book; and Into Perfect Spheres Such Holes Are Pierced (Alice James, 2004). Her work has appeared in Best American Poetry, Bennington Review, Kenyon Review, The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, Poetry, and The Washington Post. The recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and a Whiting Writers’ Award, she is a Distinguished Writing Fellow at Hunter College, and also teaches at Barnard College and NYU.

Deborah Landau is the author of four collections of poetry: Soft Targets (Copper Canyon, 2019), longlisted for this year’s Believer Book Award; The Uses of the Body (Copper Canyon, 2015), which was featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and was named a Best of the Year book by Buzzfeed, The New Yorker, O: the Oprah Magazine, and Vogue; The Last Usable Hour (Copper Canyon, 2011) and Orchidelirium (Anhinga, 2004). Her work has been recognized with a Guggenheim Fellowship and has appeared in Best American Poetry, The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Paris Review, and The Wall Street Journal. She directs the creative writing program at New York University.
