"The Amish Project"

The Amish Project tells the story of the fictionalized aftermath of the 2006 Nickel Mines, PA, Amish schoolhouse shooting. This two person play explores the Amish culture, the principles that led to the Amish community’s immediate forgiveness of the tragedy, and the love and catharsis of healing that emerged from this traumatic event. ***Content Warning: references to gun violence, paedophilia, murder and suicide***

This is an outdoor event taking place on the lawn outside of Newman Court, you are expected to follow the Commitment to Shared Responsibility—wearing masks and practicing social distancing. There is limited chair seating so please bring blankets and cushions to sit on.
