Panel: Reflections on the Black Music Division

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Please join us Saturday, March 22nd in the DCB Fireplace room from 3:30 to 5pm as alumni reflect on the pedagogy, music, and magic of the Black Music Division during their time at Bennington College. This is a Zoom event with panelists both virtual and live in-person, to be followed by a conversation open to the audience about what improvisation brings to learning and teaching, music and culture, and to our lives no matter our profession. Space is limited. Panelists will include Brad Jacobs ‘77, Nick Stephens ‘77, Stephen Haynes ‘80, William Parker, Lisa Sokolov ‘76, Vance Provey, and Syd Smart ‘75.
