It is the story of a cat and four other stranded animals learning to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. There is not one single word of dialogue. In 2024 at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Flow was awarded the Jury Award and the Audience Award. It received the Grand Prize for Feature Animation at the Ottawa Animation festival, along with other festival awards.

In 2025 Flow won a Golden Globe, as well as the Academy Award for the best Animated Feature.
