OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND LIVE STREAMING | Alumni Fellows Reading: Nico Amador, Jessica Danger, and James Roseman will read from their recent work as part of the Writers Reading series.
Nico Amador's (MFA ’22) writing has appeared in Bettering American Poetry, Poem-a-Day, fourteen poems, West Branch, Pleiades, Fugue Journal, and been featured on the Poetry Unbound and Breaking Form podcasts. His chapbook, Flower Wars, won the Anzaldúa Poetry Prize and was published by Newfound Press. He is an alumni of the Lambda Literary Writing Retreat, a grant recipient of the Vermont Arts Council, and the 2024 Vermont Outpost Fellow. He is currently involved in national and international movements for trans rights.
Jessica Danger (MFA ’16) is an adjunct instructor, Director of Education at Dead Reckoning Collective, and Joshua Tree Writers Retreat Co-Founder. She holds an MFA from Bennington College. Jessica has spent the last decade getting sober while writing about grief, addiction, and motherhood. Her work has been published widely, and her memoir, No Heroic Measures, is out in Spring 2026 with the Santa Fe Writers Project.
James Roseman (MFA ’22) is an American writer based in Dublin, Ireland. He received his MFA in Creative Writing and Literature from the Bennington Writing Seminars. He is the recipient of an Agility Award from the Arts Council of Ireland, and was short-listed for the 2023 Bridport Short Story Prize. He is represented by Edwina de Charnace at MMB Creative. His first novel, Placeholders, was published by Verve Books worldwide (excl. US & Canada) in September, 2024. It was short-listed for The First Novel Award.
