The Raritan Chamber Players: "Allen Shawn and His Contemporaries"

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Rutgers-based chamber ensemble the Raritan Chamber Players perform a concert highlighting the music of Allen Shawn. Chamber and solo works are intertwined with lesser-known music of his contemporaries. Unusual combinations of instruments including clarinet, saxophone, violin, cello, and piano create a unique kaleidoscope of sound and style rarely heard in concert.

The Raritan Chamber Players are: Allison Brewster Franzetti, piano; Maureen Hurd, clarinet; Paul Cohen, saxophone; Brennen Sweet, violin; and Mira Kang, cello.

Free and open to the public. Bennington College is "mask friendly" and asks that all guests be up-to-date on vaccinations. Please refrain from coming to campus if you are experiencing any COVID-like symptoms.
