OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Guided by Azuré Keahi, “Creative Containers” explores how we can shape and hold community by meeting our basic needs with radical imagination. Sharing stories of their playful quest for food, shelter, and clothing alongside their family, Azuré frames daily domestic life as a forum for mighty and accessible revolutionary acts against a dominant culture of isolating individualism. Azuré Kauikeōlani Iversen-Keahi is a diasporic, mixed Kanaka ʻŌiwi, Mother, artist, and storyteller living on Mohican soils in post-industrial Troy, New York.
