Culomba

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Culomba is a Boston-based vocal ensemble specializing in close harmony singing from around the world. Culomba (“dove” in Corsican) draws from a deep well of repertoire, including American folk traditions, music of Georgia, Corsica, the Balkans, and Ukraine, early European polyphony, and original compositions.

Culomba's singers have toured internationally and studied with masters of these traditions, and bring their specialized knowledge to this unique ensemble. Culomba combines attention to detail with a relaxed stage presence that draws new listeners in.

This performance features Sophie Michaux (mezzo-soprano), Adam Simon (baritone, plucked strings), Lysander Jaffe (tenor, violin), Lexi Ugelow (alto, percussion), Sora Harris-Vincent (alto), and Daniel Fridley (bass, wind instruments).
