Dr. Eli Nelson (haudenosaunee/kanien’kehá:ka) teaches in the American Studies and Science and Technology Studies Programs at Williams College. He is also the Director of Research at The Center for Black, Brown, and Queer Studies.

Participants will hear from policy experts on the six main features of effective Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for packaging and the problems with Governor Hochul's EPR budget proposal. We will then offer participants specific tools and guidance on actions they can take to ensure that New York passes an effective EPR bill.
