Getting to Albany from Bennington College
Note: The Albany International Airport recommends arriving at least 90 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. Please do not use this shuttle service if your flight departure time is fewer than 90 minutes after the shuttle arrival time at the airport.

Shuttles from Campus to Bennington Bus Station
On the dates below we will be offering a free shuttle from the flagpole to the Bennington Bus station twice a day, departing at 8:00 am and at 4:20 pm. Please arrive early.
- Thursday, 12/12
- Depart Bennington flagpole: 8:00 am and 4:20 pm.
- Friday, 12/13
- Depart Bennington flagpole: 8:00 am and 4:20 pm.
- Saturday, 12/14
- Depart Bennington flagpole: 8:00 am and 4:20 pm.
- Sunday, 12/15
- Depart Bennington flagpole: 8:00 am and 4:20 pm.
From Bennington Bus Station, you may purchase tickets to Albany airport, bus, or train station from VT Translines. These tickets tend to sell out quickly during break times so purchasing early is recommended. Please email studentlife@bennington.edu if you have any questions or concerns.
Shuttles to Albany Transportation Hubs
Bennington College will provide a midday shuttle to Albany transportation hubs on the dates provided below. The cost is $40.00 per person. Spaces are limited.

Outbound Trips Itinerary for 12/13, 12/14, and 12/15
- Depart flagpole: 1:00pm
- Albany-Rensselaer Train Station: 2:00pm
- Albany Bus Station: 2:30pm
- Albany Airport: 3:30pm
What We Need from You
The following information is needed before we can confirm your reservation:
- Cell phone or WhatsApp number
- Number of bags you will have with you (include whether you have an instrument)
- Where you want to be dropped off/picked up (Albany train, airport, or bus station, or Bennington Bus Station)
- Flight/train details (i.e., “Amtrak #88 arrives at 4:05 pm”)
How Much Does It Cost?
The shuttle fee is $40.00 one-way. You will receive a confirmation email with a link for your payment.

If You Miss the Shuttle
- If your plans change on the day of travel, as soon as you become aware of a change or delay you must contact Campus Safety (according to your confirmation email) to avoid delaying other riders. This also ensures that the shuttle does not wait unnecessarily, and allows you to see what other arrangements can be made.
