Therese Bruck
Therese Bruck is currently the Costume Director for New York University, undergraduate Drama program at Tisch School of the Arts. Therese has taught and created costumes at both Bennington College and North Adams College. She has an extensive professional career including several years as the Costume Shop Manager at the Williamstown Theater Festival, a long run as the Costume Shop Manager at Playwrights Horizons and more recently as the Costume Manager for Blue Man Group Productions. She has worked at the Juilliard School and as an assistant to Sally Ann Parsons at Parsons-Meares, Ltd on Broadway shows. As a costume designer, some of Therese’s New York credits include The Sum of Us (with Tony Goldwyn), Demonology (with Marisa Tomei), Arts and Leisure (directed by JoAnne Akalaitis), Down the Road (with Eric Stoltz), Veins and Thumbtacks (directed by Ethan Hawke), A Life in the Theater (with F. Murray Abraham) and The Suffering Colonel (directed by Matthew Broderick). Regional designs include Picnic (with Blythe Danner, Jane Krakowski, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Tony Goldwyn) and Moonstone (with James Naughton), both at Williamstown Theater Festival, and Always Patsy Cline (with Sally Struthers) in Las Vegas.
