Josef Mundt
Josef Mundt is a mathematician whose interests lie in the visualization of data, building mathematical confidence and connections, and helping others think of mathematics as an art form.
Biography
Mundt has spent most of his professional career focusing on mathematical education. He has taught for more than a decade as a high school math teacher. He has spent time developing mathematical curriculum and sequencing, as well as also helping create the Twilight Program, a program for at-risk students at the high school level that combines high school courses and on-site work experience. His mathematical interests lie in data visualization and systems thinking. BA, MAT, Bennington College. He has been a visiting faculty member at Bennington since Spring 2010.
