Devon Walker-Figueroa '15 is a poet, short story writer, and literary editor.
Biography
Walker-Figueroa's debut poetry collection Philomath (Milkweed Editions, 2021) won the National Poetry Series, the Levis Reading Prize, and was a finalist for a National Book Critics Circle award. Her second poetry collection, Lazarus Species, is forthcoming from Milkweed Editions in 2025. Her work can be found in The Nation, POETRY, The American Poetry Review, Bennington Review, and elsewhere. She is a visiting faculty member at Bennington for the 2024-2025 academic year.
