Faculty Member David Anderegg Speaks at TEDx Conference in Brussels

Jan 19, 2011

Psychology faculty member David Anderegg spoke at the TEDx Conference in Brussels, Belgium, last month on the growing culture of anti-intellectualism in America—a topic central to his critically acclaimed 2008 book Nerds: Who They Are and Why We Need More of Them.

TEDx conferences are independently organized events affiliated with the larger TED Conference that happens each year. TEDxBrussels was organized around the theme of "Who is going to save the world?" and featured talks from 25 scholars, artists, and entrepreneurs engaged in important work around the world.
