Bennington College realizes that each employee’s needs are different. The following voluntary benefit plans are designed to provide you and your family with increased financial security in the event of an accident or critical illness diagnosis.

• Voluntary Accident Insurance:  In the event of an accident, on or off the job, a benefit is paid directly to you to help cover the costs of out of pocket expenses due to the accident. The benefit helps cover the cost of out-of-pocket medical expenses, related services and treatments due to the accident. Employees can elect coverage for themselves and dependents.

• Voluntary Critical Illness Insurance:  In the event of a critical illness diagnosis a benefit is paid directly to you, the policyholder. You can use this money to help cover out-of-pocket deductibles, other related expenses or however you wish as the money is yours! Employees can elect coverage for themselves and dependents.
