Meredith McCoy

Associate Vice President, Institutional Initiatives

Meredith McCoyMeredith McCoy is the Associate Vice President for Institutional Initiatives who joined the President's Office this summer. She has a wide portfolio of projects including the opening of Commons, Dining Services, and campus efforts related to emergency management and sustainability.

Most recently, Meredith served as Associate Dean of the College at Washington and Lee University and prior to that, she was the Director of Student Affairs and adjunct faculty at the UCLA School of Medicine. Her research and teaching interests include qualitative research methodologies, education policy, and medical ethics and women's health.

Meredith was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, plays the violin, and is a mom to a three year old. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in psychology and earned her doctorate at UCLA in Educational Leadership. Meredith and her family are living on campus in the Orchard and are looking forward to meeting all of the students.
