Seniors may check in for Conference between noon and 4:00 pm on February 16 in the Office of Student Life. You will then be able to move into your room. Students who arrive on campus after 4:00 pm can pick up room keys and conference packets at Campus Safety.
Conference programming will begin on Sunday morning with a keynote speaker, and will wrap up at the end of the day on Monday. Meals will be provided, including a reception with alumni and other guests.
As a registered attendee, it is expected that you will attend all scheduled events and activities associated with the Conference.
Krista Raven or Nancy Mitton will be contacting you via your Bennington email accounts regarding Commencement. Commencement Weekend will take place May 31 and June 1. Friday’s events will include a senior dance performance, graduation concert, and the senior art exhibition in Usdan Gallery. The Welcome Reception will begin at 5:00 and is followed at 6:00 by the Commencement Dinner. The dinner includes addresses by President Coleman, the senior class speaker Jason Moon, and the yet-to-be-determined commencement speaker. The senior party will take place at 9:00 the same evening. The conferring of degrees will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 am followed by a reception under the tent. If your family has not booked rooms for Commencement Weekend, they should do so soon, as this time of year is a busy one for local hotels. The Dean’s Office will be sending out Intent to Graduate forms to seniors graduating in June. All other commencement-related information will come from Nancy Mitton in the Office of Communications.
