The Office of Student Life is designed to help you navigate Bennington’s vibrant campus life and take advantage of the many resources available to you. Through student activities, housing, recreation options, support for international students, and activities programming, the Office of Student Life provides a broad range of services and learning experiences for all students. The Office of Student Life works with student leaders across campus to create a vibrant and supportive community.

The staff in the Office of Student Life is available for students seeking information, guidance, and support on nonacademic matters and also provides 24-hour emergency coverage for students. Students are welcome and encouraged to stop into the office for assistance, to offer ideas or suggestions, to learn how to connect with other offices or organizations on campus, or to take a break between classes.

Bennington offers a number of resources to help ensure the health and well being of all members of the community. Campus Safety officers are available to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are good people to know; they’ll let you into your room when you’re locked out, let you check out a key to various spaces on campus, and assist you in an emergency. Both Health Services and Psychological Services are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are conveniently located in Commons, the central campus building that also houses the Dining Hall and Post Office.

Bennington College also has a Wellness Committee that works with Health Services, Psychological Services, and Student Life staff to discuss issues concerning health and psychological services on campus, as well as to assist with community outreach education programming.
