Although much of the menu changes daily, there are a few student favorites that tend to crop up more often. Whether it’s the Friday Grilled Cheese Lunch or Taco Night, meals at the Dining Hall are a Bennington tradition. Want to try re-creating some meals at home? Napkin Notes

Napkin Notes are a much-loved Dining Hall tradition. Anyone with a comment about the food can grab a napkin, scrawl out their thoughts, and tack it up on the bulletin board. The staff tapes their responses to the napkins for public viewing. Want to eavesdrop on the conversation? Here, we’ve plucked a few recent notes for you to savor.

Bennington proves that college food can be inspiring, nourishing, and delicious. The Dining Hall is continually creating new and flavorful meals alongside the much-loved staples. The Student Center serves as a pub, café, and snack bar rolled into one, serving up sandwiches and wraps, nachos and pizza, smoothies, freshly baked desserts, espresso, chai, and more. It also includes a convenience store with an array of ingredients for those who want to whip up their own recipes in their house kitchens.

Meals at the Dining Hall offer students a wide range of options, drawing on cuisines from Thai to Cajun to Italian. Vegetarian and vegan selections are served at every meal and special event.

The Dining Hall has several dining rooms and an outdoor porch. It serves three meals a day on weekdays, and on weekends a continental breakfast, brunch, and dinner. Students with visiting guests can purchase guest passes through Dining Services.

If you have a favorite meal or dessert from home, send the recipe to the Dining Hall and , if possible, they will feature it on the menu.
