Ways to Give | Named Scholarships | Your Gift at Work | Anyone Can Be a Philanthropist | Give Now!

Philanthropy was critical during the formative years of Bennington College and continues to nurture and sustain its unique character today. Here are just a few of the ways to make major philanthropic investments in Bennington.

  • The Elizabeth J. Franklin Associates Society recognizes donors who contribute $1,000 or more per year to Bennington College for any designation. As leadership donors, members of the Associates Society have a substantial impact on Bennington and share directly in the ongoing life of the College.
  • The Next Pioneers are alumni from the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s dedicated to helping maintain the educational excellence and integrity of the College through their participation in the Associates Society and/or the Silo Society.
  • The Silo Society is a membership group that is comprised of those Bennington College alumni, parents, and friends who have included Bennington College in their estate plans. The Silo Society acknowledges the important role these donors have in Bennington’s future and assists members with their charitable estate planning.
  • Named Scholarships are a twofold gift. In the act of honoring or memorializing a member of the Bennington community, you are also recognizing and assisting exceptional current students—thus continuing to nourish the distinctive spirit of the College.
